I remember meeting Father Frank (as he was known then) when I was younger and living in Bendigo, going to school at St Therese's. What struck me most was his conversational and very human way of inviting people to share in scripture and the teachings of the church. He was never "preachy". He was always friendly, inclusive and up for a chat. Mons has been a supportive and trusted friend to my parents for many years and for that I am ever grateful.
