It has been a pleasure to have known Walter Castelino . In particular we have enjoyed the privilege of sharing with Walter and Brenda the role of Grandparents and more recently Great Grandparents
Walter adored his extended family, and was always sharing tricks with the youngest.
Our thoughts are with Brenda at this time of her loss. She has been a tower of strength during Walter’s long illness.
Rest in peace dear Walter.

I vividly remember the first time I met Walter when David and Tracy got engaged. He welcomed us in with open arms and a huge smile, he had been to Target for the red spot specials and they were having a Tonka truck battle. We were plied with fantastic food and made to feel at home and that has never changed. He will be missed by his whole family and our thoughts are with all of them at this time love Heather and Rob.

I met Walter when I was a child and looked forward to the times when he and Brenda visited my parents. Walter had great rapport with kids and he had a number of seemingly endless magic tricks and origami skills up his sleeve as I looked on in wonderment. Thank you Walter for the fun times and the great memories.

Walter will be sadly missed by our family. Rest in peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with Brenda and her family.

There was always a warm welcome from Brenda and Walter.
Walter was one of the most doting grandfathers you will ever meet. I will never forget the adventure playground he created in the backyard at Eltham; or seeing him be king of the kids at every birthday party.
Adrian and I also enjoyed his food stall at Essendon Airport; the curries were fantastic.
Walter was a larger-than-life personality who will be greatly missed.
Our deepest sympathy is with Brenda and all her family at this time.
