PATULLO

Peter Royd

28/11/1935 – 12/04/2023

Passed away in palliative care after a short but painful illness of 3 weeks, with his family by his side.

Dearly loved Husband of Pat for 60 years, much loved Father of Claire, Brendan & Gail, Paul & Angela, Adrian & Tara, Mary & Victor (Lee), Sarah & Leith (Dwyer) and special Grandpa of 12 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.

Eldest son of Tom & Tess Patullo and much loved Brother of Lance & Dawn, Danny (Dec) & Cathie, Judith (Dec) & Kevin Mannes, and Gordon & Margaret.

Peter, you have left an emptiness that only you can fill. You still had plans to do more Bike Trail rides, but it wasn’t to be. You were so fit and determined, we expected that you would be with us for another 10 years. Loving memories, Pat.

Dad, I love you, I miss you and your bear hugs terribly. Despite feeling unbearable pain due to cancer, you never lost your will to fix things, your clever sense of humour, and your friendly personality. You found comfort by Mum’s side through to the end. Dad your suffering has ended, but I miss you, and will remember you in my heart forever.

Love Claire

Loved Father of Brendan, Father-in-law of Gail, and Grandpa of James & Chelsea, Chloe & Charlie, Jess, and Georgia & Ricky. Great Grandpa of Ivy.

Taken before your time, you lived life to the full doing the simple things you loved. Aptly crowned a local legend on Strava for your bike riding, you were not destined to grow old. You were a mentor and someone I can only aspire to become. Rest in peace now that the pain is gone, I will continue to draw on your memory for inspiration.

Loved Father of Paul and Father-in-law of Angela. Beloved Grandpa of Briley, Taylah (Wizzy), and Zach.

Memories to be treasured forever, of the many years you and Mum (Grandma), spent camping with us at Sheepyard Flat. Forever in our hearts. Loved and remembered always and sorely missed.

Missing you already Dad, and our talks and your wise ways. Never one to sit still, hardworking and always willing to drop everything if someone needed a hand, you’ve always been a shining example for your family and were loved and respected by all who knew you. You may no longer be with us, but you will always be our hero Dad, and Grandpa xxoo.

– Ad, Tara, Jemma & Tom, Charli & Josh, and Jett.

Much loved Dad and Father-in-law to Mary and Victor.

You were always kind, supportive, helpful, and encouraging.

You never judged and always took interest in whatever we were doing.

We will miss you dearly every day.

Legendary Grandpa and playmate to Henry and Alby. Doting Dad to Sarah and Father-in-law to Leith.

We were so lucky to call you Grandpa and Dad. You could fix anything, and you were always there when we needed you.

Love from your little shadow Neemy, Alby, Sarah & Leith.

“Those we love don’t go away,

they walk beside us every day,

unseen, unheard, but always near.”
