In memory of Dad, Peter, Papa.
We will remember your love, warmth and humour, and that glint in your eye as you told another terrible ‘Dad’ joke and waited on the resulting groans.
Your love for your family shone through for all to see. We were lucky to be a part of it.
With much love and fond memories,

– Chris & Catherine, Meg & Dave, Daniel, Brendan & Ella, and your new namesake little Donnie Pete. XOX

Sally Holmes shared

Dearly loved brother-in-law and very special friend of Betty and Kerry (dec).
For all the emptiness and sorrow that we feel now in the gap that has been left on the loss of Uncle Pete, we will fill that space with love and match it to the love he gave everyone else.
God bless Uncle Pete. Sally, Andrew, Rob, Gina, Paulus the Woodgnome, Katie, Angie and families.
Safe in God’s arms and forever in our hearts.

One who lived a truly Christian life and a man who never wavered. We all are the better for having Peter as a brother in law and friend. Condolences to Marg and family but take consolation in the belief that Peter is now safe with his Maker.

Always cheerful, except perhaps when occasionally, but temporarily, lost while orienteering. His infectious enthusiasm for his sport was boundless, and through his efforts many youngsters were introduced to it. Without his input and involvement over 40+ years, Bendigo Orienteers would not be the large and progressive club that it is today. A significant legacy.
