I am so grateful for having Pam in my life as my sister-in-law and friend. She brought the best out in Paul and together they created a loving and much loved family that continues to grow. As one of the “little girls” in the Collins family I thought this young woman from NZ was so brave to have moved to Australia! Over more than 50 years her care, love, kindness and sense of fun, her generosity and wisdom all made a difference in my life. Pam, Carmel and I shared a great trip to that most beautiful of places, New Zealand, in February this year. It was a precious time and so much fun. We’ll all miss her but we have so many memories that bring joy. Thank you Pam .

Pam was kindness itself. I could talk with her so easily and she became a confidante. We were all so busy with our families and then with our grandchildren, but the time spent with Paul and Pam was always special.

Thank you so much for being my mother. I am very lucky to have had you in my life growing up and as an adult. My sons have had the best upbringing being able to go to Nanny’s house for sleep overs and were constantly spoilt. “What happens at Nanny’s house stays at Nanny’s house!”
I will miss you and can not imagine this void in my heart being filled. I hope you and Paul have found each other and are busy turning water into wine 🍷!
Love you always xoxo

Thank you Pam for your friendship, particularly over the last six years; for inviting me to join the op-shop as a volunteer where as Thursday afternoon supervisor you created a very relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for our little group. You will be missed but celebrated there every week. Likewise at the birthday celebrations with Michael, Jan and Ann a chair will be left empty for you.
Rest in peace my friend.

I first met you when Paul told me that we had to pick someone up in St Kilda on the way to a surf carnival done the East Coast. Paul said “ Pam my little brother Gerry, Gerry this is Pam “; Paul did most of the talking from there!!! I sensed that you & I would be mates &we were. Countless wonderful memories flood the mind such that you will remain with me for ever.

My first memory of meeting Pam was when she and Paul were living in Torquay..she was cooking lunch and I asked if there was anything I could do to help. She said can you do the mashed potatoes.i said I don’t know how. We laughed and laughed. From there our friendship grew. The most caring, loving and unselfish person I have ever met. I hope you are now reunited with “uncle Paul” as I used to call him.

I will always remember Pam as thoughtful and kind with the best stocked pantry and fridge in the southern hemisphere! We all have lovely memories of a beautiful sister and aunty that words just can’t fully describe. She never ceased to amaze me and we got to go to, and enjoy, the Art Deco Festival in Napier NZ earlier this year. Pam teaches us all how to make good memories.
