One of the best bits about life is having life long friends. Ben and I met working at the Thomson River tunnel project in 1973. There he was, spraying concrete onto the tunnel walls in his easy going way. It was tough work but Ben made it look simple. Ben lived life to the full, there was no dress rehearsal.
