So very sad to hear about the tragic passing of Ian, a member of the AIP since Aug 1975, also a fellow and life member whom was instrumental in the Victorian branches sucess since he joined. Ian never shied away from a debate and was passionate about packaging and its place in the world. When I become the AIP President, Ian was one of the first to contact me and passed on lots of historical records about the AIP through the 80's and 90's. He will be missed. My friendship with cousin Ian began in 1947 when our two families holidayed together in Croydon and Scotland. Ian and I always had close ties sharing some family traits. There was always the playfulness of Anglo-Scottish rivalry.
