A Tribute for Ian David Fletcher by Jason Fields

A Tribute for Ian David Fletcher by Jason Fields
So very sad to hear about the tragic passing of Ian, a member of the AIP since Aug 1975, also a fellow and life member whom was instrumental in the Victorian branches sucess since he joined. Ian never shied away from a debate and was passionate about packaging and its place in the world. When I become the AIP President, Ian was one of the first to contact me and passed on lots of historical records about the AIP through the 80's and 90's. He will be missed. Rest in Peace Fletch We met in the early 1980s and almost immediately became firm friends. Ian showed me the ropes of the packaging industry of which he was equally knowledgeable and passionate. We were work colleagues for a time and I am forever grateful for his guidance and enthusiasm in a very challenging growth business. Ian was essentially the glue that kept a group of friends in regular contact. The DK dinners will remain a huge part of his legacy as we “solved the world’s problems” over a shared glass of excellent red. He lived an extremely full and…> ... Read more and post your tribute
