A Service of Thanksgiving to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Maureen Olive MERTZ will be held at the Bendigo Funeral Centre Chapel, 29 Miller Street, Flora Hill on FRIDAY (March 13th, 2026) commencing at 11am.

A Private Cremation will follow.

Today I want to take a moment to honour my Gran, a woman who meant so much to me and to our whole family. She was a strong, independent woman who lived her life with courage, determination, and so much love.
Gran was someone I always looked up to. Her strength, her wisdom, and the way she carried herself through life inspired me more than she probably ever knew. She showed me how love always care for the people you love.
The love Gran gave to our family was something truly special.
I will always be forever grateful for the love she showed me and for the time I was lucky enough to have with her.
Gran will always hold a special place in my heart. I will miss her deeply, but I will carry her strength, her love, and her memory with me forever.
