Passed away unexpectedly at Bendigo Hospital surrounded by his loving Family on July 21st, 2020.  Aged 85 years.

Dearly loved Husband of Patricia (Dec).  Loved and devoted Father of Julie and Dale.  Loved Father-in-law of Marie.

Loved and loving Pop of Josie, Samuel, Rhys, and Madison.  Loving Great Grandfather of Lillian.

Mum & Dad together again.

Treasured Memories.

 

Ferrets chasing rabbits down burrows,

birds singing songs from high in the old river gums.

Sitting on the riverbank, fishing rod in hand

trying to catch that big murray cod or even a yella.

A cold beer at the end of the day

We know you wouldn’t have it any other way. Treasured memories of you are everywhere around.

Dad we take comfort in that this is what you wanted, to be reunited with Mum. We cherish all the memories, stories and the life we have been privileged to share.

You and Mum along with what you have taught us and our children will live on.

Our broken hearts take comfort knowing you are together again.

Fly high mate. I know you’re in a better place with Nan, but I’m still going to miss our chin wags each week. You were my idol, loved every moment with you. Thanks for the memories.

Even though we are going to miss you very much, we know you are up there with Nan looking down on us.  We are so grateful for the time we got to spend with you and the memories we get to hold close to us now that you are gone.  We love you Pop and we are going to make you very proud.
