On the 26th January Don and Laurel mourn the untimely passing of their brother. Life is so fragile we are never prepared for losing a loved one, no matter what age . Len was always a very hard worker providing for his large family with little money or time for luxuries.
He did manage to fulfil his true passion of Barramundi fishing in the Northern Territory after he retired taking family members as well to test his home made lures.
Len lived a simple life, his latter years were spent tending his roses, growing and budding them of which he took immense pride always happy to duplicate a favorite for someone. Last spring his garden looked a picture, transforming it from its original very ordinary layout in no time with roses everywhere. Our last visit was to look at this years nursery of standard roses and he telling us of the good strike. We always say if only we said this, or done this, but it doesn’t help our sadness. So I just hope Len felt he had a good life with few regrets. RIP till we meet again. Laurel, Kevin and family
