Aged 40 Years.

Beloved Wife of Pete. Devoted Mother to Amity and Rhys.
Thank you for the years we shared
the love you gave,
the way you cared.

loved and remembered every day.

Beloved Daughter of Bryan and Jan. Adored Sister of Jodie and Anthony. Sister-in-law to Luke and Fleur.
Aunty to Rossi, Tylar, Carter, Axon, Harlan and Adaysha.
With tears we saw you suffer,
we watched you fade away,
our hearts were slowly breaking,
as you fought so hard to stay.
You did not want to leave us,
but you did not go alone,
for part of us went with you
the day you were called home.

Daughter-in-law to Peter (Snr) and Maz (Dec) and Families.

A Service of Thanksgiving to celebrate the life of Mrs. Karlee Jane THORPE will be held at the Bendigo Baptist Church Auditorium, 757 McIvor Highway, Junortoun on Monday
(November 13th, 2017) commencing at 11.30am.

A Private Cremation will follow.

My deepest sympathy to Pete, Amity, Rhys and the Giles family, thinking of you always.

To an amazing woman who was so courageous and strong and who never gave up. The fight is finally over. It was an honour and a privilege to be your friend and have you in my life. I will miss our long lunches and cuppas that were always long overdue, but we were always able to pick up where we left off. Thankyou for standing by my side all those years ago on my wedding day and being here to meet Charlie and letting us visit towards the end. Life will never be the same without you and you will always be in my heart. You have been taken long before your time but you are a beautiful angel who is now flying high, watching over us all. Sleep peacefully my beautiful friend.

I’ll always remember Karlee when she first joined Bendigo Bank. She was eager, full of life, keen to learn and progress.

I was privileged to have worked alongside her when I was at the Fountain Court Branch. We talked about our wedding plans and our excitement for the future. Karlee was always one to have everything planned and mapped out.

It makes me smile, knowing that she ticked some important milestones off her list – marriage, children and career – just to name a few.

She has taught me to live life to the fullest and contribute as much as we can, because sometimes the best laid plans are cut short.

My heart goes out to Karlee’s family, especially her kids (I have kids the same age). But I hope that Amity and Ryhs grow up being proud of their Mum and everything she did and achieved.

A lady who was so beautiful in every way.

One of my favorite times and memories with Karlee was the day this photo was taken many years ago.
I was also privileged to have attended Karlee & Pete’s wedding. Remembering back to Karlee’s teenage years when mac & cheese seemed to always be on her menu. I was also very honoured to do a fun run with Karlee & Jode a couple of years ago and it was inspirational to watch her cross the finish line in fine form and with her sister by her side.
Over the past 26 years there are many more memories of Karlee that I will cherish forever.
My thoughts and love go out to you all, it’s still so hard to comprehend. x
