Aged 55 years Sadly passed away at home August 31, 2018. Best Friend to Everyone; Loved by Everyone.
A heartfelt thank you to all the people that shaped Jack’s world; his doctors, specialists and allied health providers; Dr James Quinn, Bev and all the staff at the Diamond Creek Clinic; Lachie Hayes, haematologist and friend; John Archer, neurologist, Austin Hospital; Dustin, Stephanie, and staff from Diamond Creek Pharmacy, you’re awesome; and to Anna at Healthability, Eltham for the hugs.
To the best neighbours in the world, Anne and Lyle, thank you for loving Jack as your own, I’m sorry that Sundays will never be the same for you. To Doris and staff at Greensborough Library, thank you for taking him around the world so many times; and to the owners and patrons of Harvest Field bakery, where he loved to sit and watch the world go by, you will now have an empty seat sorry.
Most importantly, to all his BEST friends, who are far too many to mention, thank for your enduring patience, kindness, and love for Jack. You all know who you are.
You’re right, Jacko, everyone does love you! Thank you for teaching us that life really is simple, but above all, that friendship and love matter most.
My life will be so empty without you, best brother, I’ll miss your best hugs and best kisses Your doting, broken, best sister, Sal.
Your gotcha’s will be sadly missed by your loving best brother-in law, Brett; and your best hugs will be greatly missed by your best nieces, Mel, Sam and Kate, and their best partners, Tristan and Kyle.

Funeral Notice

Funeral Details

The Funeral Service for everybody’s best friend Jack Stefos
will be held in the St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church,
cnr. Porter Street and Church Road, Templestowe.
On Wednesday, September 12, 2018 commencing at 11 a.m.
At the conclusion of the service the Cortege will leave for burial
at the Diamond Creek Cemetery.
Due to limited parking available at the Cemetery a private bus
will be available to ferry those wishing to attend the burial
then back to St. Haralambos Church Hall where all best friends
and family are invited to Stay for refreshments to mingle
and to share your fondest memories with each Other.
In lieu of flowers, please consider bringing a card
(birthday, farewell or friendship), filled with your private loving thoughts for Jack,
which will be placed with him to go on the journey to the new bedroom
in heaven that his beloved mother Maria along with the angels have loving prepared for him.
