Mum,

You were the rock of the family, our matriarch. You were always there to listen when we had trouble and tell us if we were in the wrong, which I didn’t like. You used to tell me I was soft and I would say you were too hard. You told me I was a lovely mother and nana because I spread my love around.
I know I got this from you because everyone has said how you have touched their lives.
You will be missed by all of us. I love you to the moon and back.

It’s hard to put into words how much you have influenced my life. You are the strongest woman I’ve ever known and I’m trying to draw from some of that strength in processing your passing. I miss you so much and hope you have found peace back in your husband Keith’s arms. I’m sure he would be there waiting for you to cross over. I will treasure our holidays to Venus bay, San Remo and Rosebud and the many years of memories we shared. I feel privileged to have been your granddaughter and know you will watch over my family. Thank you for being such a strong influence on our whole extended family, the one that held us all together. Family gatherings will never be the same without you. Your memory will live on in all of us.

Although the time has come for us to briefly part.
You will never be that far away as you’re always in our hearts.

Gloria, it has been a honour to have known you, you are going to be greatly missed by all that has crossed paths with you.
We have loved you being part of our lunch catch ups, it’s been sad, that with everything that has been going on over the past two years has kept us all apart and now our next catch up is going to be without you, which will be sad. But you are at peace now & we all know you will be always looking over your amazing family.
