Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family.
Loved wife of Rod. Loving mother and mother in law of Kevin & Mel, Brad & Theresa. Nana to Lachlan and Kathrine.
In God’s garden, you rest above,
In our hearts, you rest with love.

God saw you getting tired, And a cure was not to be.
So he put his arms around you, And whispered ‘Come with Me’.
With tearful eyes I watch you, Slowly fade away.

Although I loved you dearly, I would not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands at rest.
God broke my heart to prove to me, He only takes the best.

God looked around his garden, and he found an empty place.
He then looked down upon this Earth, And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you and Lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best.

He saw the road was getting rough, And the hills were hard to climb,
So he closed your weary eyelids, And whispered “Peace be Thine”.

It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone.
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
We will Love you always – Kevin, Melinda, Lachlan and Kathrine

If Roses grow in Heaven, Lord, please pick a bunch for me.
Place them in my Mother’s arms, and tell her they are from me.

Tell her I love her and miss her, and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek, and hold her for a while.

Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day,
but there is an ache within my heart, that will never go away.
