Dearest Anne,
We met through our work many years ago and developed a lifetime friendship. Unfortunately your lifetime has been way too short for us to follow through with so many plans and wishes for the future. You have done a wonderful job of being a mother, a friend and a caring professional, and have touched and made a difference to a multitude of lives.
Though some may not think of us as young, you will stay, in our dear friend Bob’s words, “forever young”. You always “did” for others, but may have not let others do enough for you. You were courageous; your wonderfully creative hands were always busy; and you had a strong foundation that you passed on to your adoring son and daughter – you did it all, in far too short a time.
You will be forever young, and forever missed.
May God bless and keep you always
May your wishes all come true
May you always do for others
And let others do for you
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young.
May you grow up to be righteous
May you grow up to be true
May you always know the truth
And see the lights surrounding you
May you always be courageous
Stand upright and be strong
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young.
May your hands always be busy
May your feet always be swift
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift
May your heart always be joyful
And may your song always be sung
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young.
