9-10-1934 – 17-7-2023 aged 88yrs.
Passed away peacefully at Horsham Base Hosp. with family by his side.
Late of Monto, QLD, Omeo, Croydon, Donald (Vic) and many other places on the east coast of Aust.
Beloved husband of Carolyn Edwards.
Much loved father of Peter (dec), Rob, Adrienne, Deirdre
and adopted Randi Zachariasen and Paul Lees as his own kids.
Father-in-law to Dave and Eric.
Absolutely adored grandfather of Mitchell, Bradley, Iona, Jasmin,
Matthew, Kara, Nicole, Kris, Chloe, Joel and Luca. Great Grandfather to Kai and Lincoln.
Loved brother to twin Noel and sisters Betty (dec), Sylvia, Ressie (dec), Ann, Renal (dec), Kay, Patricia and little brother Kevin.
Loved Uncle, great Uncle and great, great Uncle of so many who will miss him dearly.
He put his heart and soul into everything he did and did his level best to get the job done.
He cared about everyone he ever met and often thought of you all with a big smile and had stories to tell.
Thankyou to the team at Horsham Base Hosp. for their care of our dearly loved Gus;
there are no words to describe the efforts made by them to make him comfortable and respected.
Sincere thanks to all the outstanding services in Donald,
especially Doreen and Tania,
who enabled Dad to remain happy and safe at home.
EDWARDS
A service of celebration for Gus Edwards will be held in St. Andrews Uniting Church,
Donald on THURSDAY (July 27th) at 11.00 am.
The cortege will then leave for the Donald Lawn Cemetery.
