Joy passed away peacefully at Mirridong Aged Care Bendigo, on 20 April 22, aged 95 years.

Devoted wife of Jack (dec).  Dearly loved mother of John and Betty, Michael and Jayne, Philip and Jenny, Gemma, Andrew and Marnie and Simon (dec).

Beloved Grandma of Alexia and Edward, Rachael, Matthew and Emma, Georgina and Victoria, Melissa, Chantelle, Amberlee and Ranetta, Ellie-Jean and Jake.  Loving Great Grandmother to twelve Great Grandchildren.

Joy’s strength and devotion to family and community will forever remain in our minds and hearts.

Mass of Thanksgiving to Celebrate the Life of the late Mrs. Amy Therese ‘Joy’ HIGGS, will be held at St. Kilian’s Church, 161 McCrae Bendigo, on MONDAY WEEK (May 2nd, 2022) commencing at 11.00am.

The Funeral Cortege will leave at the conclusion of Mass for the Bendigo Lawn Cemetery.
