Grateful thanks to Mons. Marriott for his time as Parish Priest in Heathcote where he
baptised my twins in 1975. He always returned for parishioner’s funerals and remained interested
in our community. Heathcote has lost a true friend and confessor. God bless you Mons.

I remember meeting Father Frank (as he was known then) when I was younger and living in Bendigo, going to school at St Therese’s. What struck me most was his conversational and very human way of inviting people to share in scripture and the teachings of the church. He was never “preachy”. He was always friendly, inclusive and up for a chat. Mons has been a supportive and trusted friend to my parents for many years and for that I am ever grateful. He is and will continue to be missed greatly.
