Passed away peacefully at home (Bendigo) on October 7th, 2025.

Aged 87 years.

Loved husband of Beryl (Dec).

Loved father of Lynette & Wayne, Daryl & Sue Anne, Elaine & Dave, Bronny & Grant and their families.

To our Dad, Pa and Great Grandpa who we love so much.

His pleasures were simple, his needs were few.

If his family was happy, he was too!

He gave us love in the fullest measure,

care, devotion and memories to treasure.

He shared our dreams, hopes and tears,

thank you, Dad for those precious years.

We will simply miss you more than words can say.

God has you in His keeping, we have you in our Hearts.

A Service of Thanksgiving to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Wesley James ‘Wes’ MITCHELL will be held at the Eaglehawk Remembrance Park Chapel, 5 Victoria Street, Eaglehawk on WEDNESDAY (October 15th, 2025) commencing at 11am.

At the conclusion of the Service, the hearse will process from the chapel for the interment , to be held in the  Grenfell Lawn Section of the Eaglehawk Lawn Cemetery.

I was sorry to hear of the passing of cousin Wes. I’ve fond memories of times around the table with Beryl and Wes in my younger days. A great couple who always looked to help others. Condolences to Lynette, Daryl, Elaine, Bronny & families; also to Bruce, Pam & families. Sorry I wasn’t able to attend the service in person.
