Who Was Our Champion
The family of Terry Wild Snr. is very sad to announce his passing on June 28, 2022. Aged 84.
Charismatic and generous, he had a big heart, fighting spirit and a sparkle in his eyes. He lit up the room, loved deeply and was an incredible boxer, trainer, family man, friend, and horseman.
He was our champion and we are all so lucky to have had him in our lives…he loved his family, the people from the old days in Collingwood and Richmond and the Sport of Kings….he was known for his wisdom and humour amongst other things…A member of the Painter & Dockers Union, he lived by their credo “Touch one, Touch all” and he taught us all how to be loyal and to always “do your best” through his own life example.
Terry Snr. joins his beloved wife Inga and best dog Candy on the other side.
He is survived by his children Terry and Nicky, sister Gabrielle and partner Chris, sister Jennifer and family, adopted son Alexander. Adored poppy of Emily (Partner Ricky) and Bonnie (Partner Michael) and great grandfather to Isla and Zara. Big Terry to granddaughter Isabella and father-in-law to Guntram.
