Funeral Details

Family and friends were invited to attend the celebration of the life of Peter Mac Allister which was held in the Maple Room, Wangaratta Turf Club, Racecourse Road, Wangaratta on Thursday June 30, 2022.
Private cremation followed the Service.

Uncle Peter, so kind and welcoming, joyful and fun. We loved visiting you, and hearing you whistle as you walked through the door with all the days’ stories peppered with humour. Always busy with work, family and the community.
A true Mac, you loved singing along and at Mum’s funeral just a month ago, I said “You know all the words!” and you said “Of course!”, and sung even louder. As, when I was a 5 year old, you made me smile & giggle once again. A most special memory.

Remembering Uncle Peter,

In the few times we were able to meet up over the years we really enjoyed your company.
You had a winning smile and a fabulous sense of humor. We witnessed the loving care you
gave Aunty Eileen when we visited many years ago and also when you both came
to Perth for mum’s 70th not long after dad died. And I appreciate the way you reached
out to mum with warmth and understanding after the loss of Aunty Eileen.

You will be missed by many but certainly held in our hearts always.

Rest in peace and we hope to meet up again ‘on the other side’.
