Karen passed away suddenly but peacefully at the Alfred hospital. Loved daughter of Norma and Neil (dec). Karen was a loving sister to Geoff, Jenni, Sue, Christopher, Andrea and Michelle and sister in law to Peter, Christine, Steve, Phil and Troy.

Karen was surrounded by love from her large family of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and her many dear friends.

Karen gave 50 years of unfailing service to the Alfred Hospital over her life time and was much loved and respected by all her colleagues and friends and will be sorely missed.

Rest In Peace Karen.

Funeral Details

The funeral service for Karen Flett will be held in the Boyd Chapel, Springvale Botanical Cemetery, 600 Princes Hwy, Springvale on Wednesday March 16, 2022 commencing at 11am.

Followed by a Burial.

I was Team Manager at MICA 2 (Alfred Hospital) we had taken a particularly distressing attempted suicide case to Alfred A&E. We, the patient and staff knew she was about to die regardless of any treatment or surgery. Karen found me the following day and was especially kind and caring, an unforgettable memory for me.
