Jaxen, you gave me the chance to feel what it was like to love someone as a son.
The impact your loss has had on the world is too great to put into words. You always made me beam with pride. Watching you play football, jump the balcony at home, devour pasta or just snuggle with mum are precious memories I will carry with me forever.
I may not be able to see that gorgeous smile or feel those arms around me again. But when I close my eyes, you will always be there.

We are devastated again every time we realise you wont walk in our front door again and give each of us one of your magnificent bear hugs, but we feel so blessed to have had you in our lives. Jaxen, you were and are loved by so many. Your generosity, warmth, thoughtfulness, and kindness enveloped us and your cheeky humour, playfulness, and willingness to try new things and express your dreams charmed us. You felt more like a nephew than a cousin to us both, and we relished watching you grow into the man you had become.

Now we don’t quite know what to do without you, except to share our grief and memories with one another and wish you would still walk through that door and hug us.
